Crepes

I love to eat crepes on Sunday morning. It is a nice change from traditional toast.

Serve them with maple syrup, brown sugar, molasses and/or fresh fruits.

You can use the crepe for dessert by stuffing them with bananas flambés.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 ml sugar
  • 5 ml salt
  • 50 ml melted butter
  • Oil

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients, except the oil, together until the batter is smooth
  • Using a paper towel soaked with some oil, grease the bottom of a heavy pan
  • Spread batter evenly, equivalent to a ladle, in the frying pan and cook at medium heat until the top has dried out.
  • Flip the crepe and cook another minute
